Default Too good?

I'm building a system for my truck and all I have left to get is my sub, the box and the amp for it. I found a really good deal on it on adleraudio.com. it seems too goo to be true and the salesperson at my local store even said he wouldn't trust that because it's cheaper than they buy them from the manufacture. Has anybody ever heard of them? Would you trust it or think I'll get ripped off?

You know what they say it might just be too good to be true. Use caution.

Let me know if you buy from that website...their prices are awesome! I need a new amp, and I might use them. looks legit, but you never know.

Yeah they do look really legit but they have 15" Rockford T2 for only $500 then $25 for shipping and that's a $900 sub straight from Rockford, you would normally pay around $750 for it so it's still a really big break. If anybody hears about somebody buying from themplease let me know so I can whether to trust them or not.

Their prices are not that great.. You can get that T2 through Amazon for 449.

http://www.amazon.com/Rockford-Fosga.../dp/B003KTYMZW

OR go through Sonic and it is 449 and free shipping.

Well that's still not as cheap as Adler. Are the places you named, certified Rockford dealers and hive the warranty? And do you trust them? And is it the new T2 cuz I found older models for cheap.

You said Adler was 500 + 25 to ship, that is 525.. The others were 449 and one had free shipping. I do not know if it is the latest one or not as I have not followed the RF line for a couple years now. RF has their own warranty (1 year) on most of their products. I have only had one warranty claim years ago with them and I bought it from an on-line site. Just had to send to RF directly.

Whoops I meant $400 plus $25 for shipping, thanks for the help. I might go with the Sonic place because they're the only ones that say anything about a warranty. I checked it out after I read your reply. None of them say they have the Rockford warranty but they have their own and it's one year plus you can buy a three year for $50.99. Also the one for that price is the newest one. Thanks again.

Sonic has never treated me wrong on any of the transactions I've made with them.

The only place I've done business with that I would recommend everyone stay far, far away from is Hifisoundconnection.com. They gave me false info to get me to buy a product and now haven't returned any of my emails. They had the cheapest price on the product that I needed, but it's like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for...
