I found this

I am sorry you feel you aren't getting help fast enough. I know this place is busy and there are people out there that will know...but...we all have lives as well and not everyone spends tons of time here.

Looking at the Dana site I came across this, but I don't see any specific nut sizes mentioned. If you had a caliper I'd suggest measuring the nut.

I thought BlueJets response was spot on and politely stated the way this forum works. If you feel your not getting an answer quick enough simply bump your thread up, there are several icons that can be used

Mine was actually a 2 9/16 for future ref. My truck is a 99 ram 2500 with a dana 60 rear axle(aka-spicer 6200) and factory 4.10 gears. There is also a tab or ears that are bent over lock nut it states you need to bend these back before you back the nut off. Thanks guys for all the info greatly appreciated and my apologies for the impatience I exhibited during this rebuild.

And no I disagree the "we all have lives and not everyone spends all there time here" was not necessary a simple private msg staiting his issue with me would have been a bit more proffessional but then again not all people are as respectful
