Well, to this, I will say...I love my new ram. 100% wholeheartedly. Except for the idiot in design who placed the oil filter above a crossmember and steering rack. Not a huge problem, but, enough to speak of.

My '04 Ram was the same way with the oil filter, so nothing new. It is a pain in the butt however to keep things a bit neater try cutting a sheet of platic, or as I use a plastic placemat and when the oil starts dripping use that to direct the oil where you want. I used this on my '04, and the same trick works on the '11.. Good luck...

Yep, I have its ticket now. I went to the dollar store yesterday and bought a plastic paint roller pan. With a little modification, and ingenuity, I will mold it to work for me as a funnel. First oil change on a new truck always sucks in some way...this just happened to be the issue that sucked!

I just let the dealer do mine. They have been real good about washing it after so I don't have a big growing mess.
