Default Need bolts for oem skid plate!

In a misguided effort to save money, I bought the 2 skid plates and the crossmember separately instead of buying the 2 kits from Mopar. The good news is I saved myself around $100. The only thing is, I knew I would need to find the self-tapping M8 1.25x30mm bolts on my own (easy, right?). Here comes the bad news. I have been completely unable to find self-tapping bolts online or locally. The Autozone guy looked at me like I was speaking nonsense. All I could find were regular bolts of that size at Lowes. Thinking myself quite smart, I got a tap set to thread the holes myself. Worked great on the front plate, the back one is impossible to reach with the tap. I tried to rig something with a wrench and only succeeded in breaking my shiny new tap. So now I have spent 30 bucks on a tap set and about 20 bucks on bolts. Obviously I should have just bought the stupid kit from Mopar, but that ship has sailed.

So...when I figure out how to get the broken tap out of that hole, I am still going to need to figure this out. Does anyone know how to find M8 1.25 self-tapping bolts?

Had the same problem, take body mount hardware off and tap away. Or just hold an impact wrench up to it.
