Default Bolt on Horsepower?

I am a Newbie when it comes to Hemi's. Is there any thing i can do to add Horsepower to my Hemi without messing with the computer? Things like Cold air intake, Exhaust(ill be moving to cali in december so it has to be legal). Any input would be helpful. Thanks everyone

I think you nailed it, CAI and exhaust are about the two easiest bolt ons. You can bolt on a supercharger kit! Maybe some headers. Welcome to the forum, lots of good resource info here.

A muffler change will help a little but mostly it be be just for sound than horsepower. If you go with air intake or headers just make sure they are CA. compliant. I have the Airaid cold air kit and a set of Dougs headers. Both gave me a little more boost in HP but not a kick in the pants type gain but thats ok I'm still happy with what I got. If you really want a gain reprogramming or supercharging is what you need. Good luck with what you choose. CA.RedHemi

Naw...you won't have any problems with an intake and exhaust. More air in and more air out is always a good mod on the internal combustion engine.

And don't be afraid of the programmers. They really help realize the benefits of the change in airflow, help reduce knock, make the engine more efficient and in some cases improve your Hemi MPG, like it did for mine.

Screw hypertech....get you a DiabloSport Predator programmer for that HEMI! It's the best one out there, IMHO.
