Yes I have and I liked how it turned out. I would not recommend using the Nightshades you buy at the stores though. My friend used it and it turned out awful. I have a paint gun so I did mine myself.

I did mine a few weeks ago and they turned out perfect. I am not experienced in a paint work, but I followed a video on youtube and it was actually very easy. The whole project cost me less than $25.00, and I still had left over VHT Niteshades. Here is the link to my results, and if done right they will NOT turn out awful.

Yeah nightshades is cheaper but you dont get the gloss professional look. It's a lot more dull and cracks.

I skipped the final wet sand step because I wanted the matte black finish vs the gloss look so it was perfect for me. But I have seen others that were just as glossy as the factory ones and they were done with niteshades. Its all in how its done and the quality of the clear coat and its application. Hopefully I don't have any cracking issues, but time will tell.

Yeah. Its all about personnal preference. I just don't like them. Around here I haven't seen a good set. Plus a lot of people don't know how to do it with the gun, not to mention a good paint guns $500.
