Question Nitto Terra Grapplers???

Okay so I just finished up installing the Bilstein 5100 leveling kit and am looking for a new set of tires. I was looking at a set of 295/60R20 Nitto Terra Grapplers but am not sure if they will fit? After looking at the Nitto website they say the tire width is 12.36" and diameter is 34.45". Now I know most 295 tires are like 11.6" wide so I'm not sure if the Nitto's just run a little different...I hope they would know...lol.

But anyway I guess my question is will a 34.45"x12.36"R20 tire fit with the max lift of about 2.75"?? I know the stock tire is pretty close to the upper control arm but am not sure how the new tire will line up so getting an accurate measurement is kind of hard. Any help would be appreciated. After the new tires are installed I will be sure to do a before and after write up.

I've read of others going with the 305-55/20 and not having issues after the 5100 installation. I'd think you'd be ok with the size you have chosen.

I just installed 296\65\20 trail grapplers on my truck and they rub at full lock. I don't have the blisteins, but I do have the 2.5 daystar leveling kit. You might be okay with a 295\60, but I think it will be very close.

I'm running the 305/55/20 terra grapplers on stock rims with the bilstein 5100's and they rubbed the upper control arm. had to use spacers.

Last week, I had 295/60R20 Nitto Trail Grapplers along with Moto Metal 951's put on my truck. I have a 2" leveling kit. No rubbing on the control arms. It's very close, but Discount Tire says I'm totally fine there! I rub a little on the driver's side stability bar (?), but not on the passenger side. I going to have the dealer look at it because it sounds like a Dodge issue vs a tire size issue.

i ran 305/55R20's on my last truck, they were thinner than the stock goodyears. which are 60 series. If I could have gone it all over I would have definitely gone with a 60 series

That cant be right, the 60 series just means a taller sidewall.

305 is the Width (in millimeters) = 12"
55 series means 55% of the width is the sidewall height (6.6")

add 6.6" bottom sidewall + rim diameter (20") + 6.6 top sidewall =33.2" Tall

So a 305/55R20 is about 12"x 33"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

A stock GY (275/60R20)

275 width (divide by 25.4) = 10.826" wide
60% of 10.826 = 6.49

6.49" + 20" + 6.49" = 32.98 diameter

Stock GoodYear is 10.8"x 33"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here's my stock 275/60R20's vs my 50 series Terra Grapplers... (305/50R20) (actually measure 12.2"x32.2")

Stock tires

Stock suspension 305/50R20 Grappler's

After 2/3 drop kit 305/50R20 Grapplers

Here's the clearance to the upper control arm on my 305 wide (12.2" wide tire) no rubbing, and my Ram is dropped

a 12.36"x 34.5" tire will be a bit closer

I know some who have the 305/55R20's (12.4"x33.07") needed to add 1/4" wheel spacers.

i had them on boss wheels, which were 20x8s where i guess the stock 20s must be by 7?

I know all the measurements, just saying that when i pulled my truck up to my pops' ram his stock 20s sat taller than my aftermarket ones. huge dissappointment. and as for the nittos site sizes, they are all false.
