tough call. might be easier to make a decision if you could get them to tell you who made the muffler. also, I think that aluminized tubing would rust pretty quickly in OH.

but then again for only $170 you could give it shot w/o breaking the bank.

I agree with that ^^^^. I'd ask the same question. If your road department uses salt or other corrosive materials to melt ice & snow on the roads, aluminized tube wont' last long.

2 things come to my mind, 1 it won't last very long (store your stock system just in case) 2 LOUD, thin pipes and turbo muffler means LOUD exhaust. But for that price it could be worth a try. Another thought came to mind FIT I'm sure you might be muscleing it a bit for a good fit. Good luck, CA.RedHemi

if you are looking for some better sound and performace I would just cut and replace your stock muffler with a magnaflow, corsa, etc. easy and not as expensive.

if you are looking for a single in dual out exhaust it would prob just be easier to find a custom exhaust shop local to you and have them bend you up something. if so, go talk to the guy...tell him what muffler you want, ask him what kind of tubing he uses, are they mandrel bends or not. it's not the end of the world if they aren't mandrel bends so I wouldn't really sweat that part but it shows you know what you are looking for.

if you were going for a 500+hp full 3" true dual with a X or H-pipe then stainless and mandrel bends with your favorite sounding muffler would be a must. on that note go to youtube and listen to some clips of different mufflers. pick the one YOU like not what everyone else is doing. you are the one that has to drive an listen to it everyday.

that's a darn good price...I'd call and find if it's straight through..chambered mufflers aren't worth it.. i agree with above.. if you find a small independent they can custom one for you for barely more...

My local shop charged me $280 for flowmaster single in and dual out and dual pipes out the rear with stainless tips--installed. This was on my last truck about a year ago, I am going back and they are going to put a magnaflow installed on my factory dual exhaust on my new ram for $160.
