Default DSP disables ESP??

Hello all, I see we have a new site sponser advertising the DSP and in his description of the product he claims it will enable/disable ESP. I PMed him questions in regards to this and price and he sent me back a reply with a supposed quote from DS

"Quick Adjust parameters

Quick adjust parameters do not require a reflash to take effect, they require a key cycle, these parameters are available in a separate "Quick Adjust" menu item as well as in the modify parameters menu.
User will be asked to cycle key after each adjustment.
  • ESP mode
Enable or disable the ESP (traction control), NOTE: When disabled the ABS, ESP BAS and (Brake) lights will be illuminated and ABS will not be operational
  • Reset TCM adaptation
Resets the learned TCM adaptation(instead of pulling a fuse).
  • Shift Points
    Raise shift points by a predefined setting, 5.7L's (1-2 5800rpm, 2-3 6000rpm, 3-4 6000rpm), 6.1L's (1-2 6400rpm, 2-3 6400rpm, 3-4 6400rpm).(N/A on Jeep)
  • Shift Firmness
Reduces torque management between shifts for a firmer shift , N/A on SRT8 vehicles.
  • Autostick auto upshift
Enable/Disable automatic upshift when in manual autostick mode, ie. raise your rev limits and you can shift manually at any rpm without the vehicle automatically upshifting (as it would do stock).(N/A on Jeep) "

I specifically asked him about a 2010 Ram. So is this true? or have I recieved wrong info.

Yeah this is true. The only thing that really bothered me was having the ABS lights on and everything that deals with that. The ESP is a pain for sure and I wish I could disable it without the lights popping up or without having to buy a programmer, however its not possible and I don't feel like riding around in a $30k truck with all those lights on. Just depends how much it means to you I guess.

And it's not recommended that you run over the highway in ESP off mode. You will lose ABS functionality. Stopping distances will be longer and you may experience a loss of control due to skidding.

I only turn my SRT's ESP off when I am at the dragstrip!

Has anybody loaded this tune and shut the esp off on there trucks? does it get rid of the soggy throttle response from a dead stop?

The Predator definitely improves throttle response, makes more HP and torque at lower RPM's and sustains them longer in the power band without disabling ESP.
