i also want to make my ride unique, seems the easiest way to make it different from all other rams is to keep it stock. lol

are you talking grills or bumpers, 1000.00 for a grill sounds a little high price wise.

just reread your post, looks like you are talking grill. i might save some dollars and look into brush guards and bull bars.

T-Rex makes some grilles that you might like, and they're cheaper than RBP.
You have to cut the crossbars, though.
If you can't or don't want to do that, you could get the grille inserts.

E220- I'm in the same predicament as you are. I have a 2010 SLT with chrome bumpers and I put 20inch Black Rockstar Rims on my truck recently. I'm looking to make it a little bit more of a custom look and am considering actually buying the factory dodge ram black grille for the black trucks and putting it on my truck. Its either that or I'm looking into buying the white with black inserts. Can't decide though because of the bumper I have on it. I'm going for the blacked out look however. I haven't found too many grilles that aren't overpriced besides the stock or mopar ones.

Which grille do you have on your truck currently? You may be able to find someone on the Z that's looking to do the opposite of what you're doing. You could possibly run a swap. Mutual understanding that each are paying shipping, but shipping would be far cheaper than a new grille. I'm selling my Chrome grille off my Laramie to a coworker with a sport. Both trucks are black so he already knows what it's gonna look like. I'm getting a billet for mine, ditching the massive Ram head in the middle, just as soon as I get the dough. Good luck, we need pics.

Yeah I have the chrome grille as well that I'm trying to swap out for white or black. I actually got on the K2 website to order a grille off of there but with me being in the military I was told my order was cancelled because the billing and shipping address didn't match up. After calling customer service line for 3 weeks straight with no answer my money still hasn't been placed back into my account! Beware of this company!!

Have you thought of using Plastidip or duplicolor's Shadow paint for chrome coverage? This makes a nice custom work and not too expensive.

^^^^ That's some good advice, much cheaper option that provides a custom look.

^^ I think thats the route I'm going to go. I do like the black honeycomb grill however though. Decisions decisions.

Hey RansRam have you bought any plasti-dip here in Ontario? I checked Lowes they don't carry it. I havent checked home depot yet though, I'm thinking the probably should?
