I see alot of guys who are running aftermarket exhaust but are sticking with the single out method. Is is better to stay with that, true dual it out, x-pipe duals? Still trying to figure that out but back to the post at hand:
CAI and tuner definitely, then exhaust to get the back end breathing better

I've only seen one truck on here (Speedfreak) who is running true duals and even with all his current mods the duals seem to be too much b/c he lost some torque for his gain in hp. You really need low end to get these big trucks moving. He might have some bigger plans and only wanted to do it once...

IMHO you should replace the squished factory y-pipe with a better "true" y-pipe then run a single 3" all the way out. Better breathing and you won't lose low end Q. If you run a single in/dual out muffler then 3" pipe in and 2.5" pipe out the back of the muffler would be good. BUT, if you are planning on 500+ hp a true dual with X or H-pipe would be in order. Again, just my opinion.

I run the custom y-pipe, 3" into muffler, 2.5" duals out of the muffler. If I had more header choices like you gen 3 guys, I'd have those also.

Canned and Custom Tuning with many other functions depending on year.
Not so much a "rage" as some variables include what year and make the truck is and the consideration of current and future mods if any.
