Arrow Custom off-road bumper

Ok so I have been working on this bumper now for around three months LOL. I have only been working on it during my 30 minute lunch breaks at work on and off when I'm not hungry or when I just feel like working on it. Tell me what you guys think so far, it is about 3/4's of the way done!! I'm starting to get excited and can't wait till it's done but rarely get the chance to stay after work to try and finish it being that I work two jobs, but soon it will be done

I will add some pics that I have so far, it's all made out of 3/16" stainless steel too.

Looks great so far.

Makes me feel lazy since you work two jobs and still have time to work on fun toys for the truck in the limited time available. Love that you can build it instead of buying it!

Thanks buddy, it took a while to even get it started. I had to make a complete bumper out of cardboard to see if I would like the design and then cut it into templates so I could cut out the peices to tack together. I wouldn't feel lazy if I were you, I'm just one of those workaholic types LOL. I have a buddy of mine that is 22 and doesn't see where I get my energy from and told me he has a hard time keeping up with me at our side jobs we do LOL!

Metal fabrication is a talent and you can tell you are a talented guy. Great weld by the way.

Maybe you could start a side business building and selling bumpers and quit your 2nd job? It seems most off-road bumpers sell for around 1k so you could make some serious cash on the side too!

It's funny you say that cause I was thinking about making these and selling them. Only thing is that I want to try and work out all the bugs and have mine totally done. I am working on a cardboard version of a rear bumper that will match the front one that you see. I mean it won't be exactly the same but it will for sure match. On the front I still have to work on the mounting set up and I think that is going to be the hardest part of the whole thing. I will then have to work on a winch bracket that will be something that I can bolt in place later on. That will be like a upgrade so that if I do sell these you can buy the bumper and save up more and get the winch mount later so you aren't spending tons of money all at once. Also if I do build them to sell them I will for sure make them affordable. Although all of that is a process I will have to slowly build up to. It costs a lot of money to get all the equipment that I would need to do this!!

That is some really great work! I have to say it is coming along great, and it looks good. You definitely have talent when it comes to metal work. I wish I could do stuff like that, would have saved me a bunch of money from buying a steel bumper haha.

Thanks buddy, I appreciate it. I know what you mean by saving a bunch of money and thats the exact reason I decided to take on the task of building my own bumpers LOL, and thanks again for the compliments it means a lot coming from you guys on this forum

Man that bumper is coming along great! I can't wait to see the finished product! In the end are you going to have it powdercoated, or maybe herculine it? It's going to look great whatever you end up doing. I love the look of those heavy duty offroad bumpers.
