Default clicking in left front wheel well area

I have a clicking sound in the left front tire area, I inspected the tire and wheel well area and saw nothing out of the ordinary. the sound increases peed as the truck goes faster. Any thoughts?

Two things come to mind....a wheel bearing or a broken belt in the tire.

ya think? I dont even have 10000 miles on the truck! It sounds like a baseball card in the spoke of a bicycle. its anoying.

Yeah, it could be a rock too.

Tires can be defective even if new. Bearings can have defects as well. 1000 miles doesn't mean it's wore out, just possibly defective.

i removed all rocks from the tire, I even had someone drive it for me so I can listen to it, the noise is coming from the wheel well area, but everything looks fine. still looks brand new.

Honest, looks can be deceiving. A bearing or tire belt really can't be seen.

Here's something you can try. Jack up the front end and rotate the tire. See if it clicks. If not, you can rule out the bearing.

while you have it jacked up grab the tire on top and bottom and see if there is any play. then grap it on the left and right side and see if there is any play.

found the problem, pulled the tire off and a stick was jammed down behind the rotor. couldnt see it with the tire on. Lucked out! Thanks for the info Gents.
