question for the guys running bilsteins.... is that all you added to level the front? ive heard mixed stories that you cant just add new shocks to do it, that you have to add spacers. ive also heard that the bilsteins do it just by themselves... im running a 4x4 and i feel that raising the nose up to level with the back would be a great affordable look until i can get a whole lift kit.

also can someone explain the death wobble problem... '09 here. and i dont want to get it.

The Bilstein shocks will lift the front end by themselves. They have an adjustable plate that the springs sit on that will allow you to lift the front end as much as 2.8", no spacers required.

sweet thanks muchly for the info.... though, one more quick question.... do you need a spring compressor for these trucks... havent paid attention when i been up under there to know. and if not, is it a pretty easy diy installation... i have almost any hand tool and am mechanically inclined to want to take on this project myself

I can't answer that. I'm planning on taking it to my local shop. Working on my truck is the only DIY project I leave to others. Good luck though!

I took mine to my local 4x4 shop. it could probably be a DIY , but these guys know what to look for and after watching them, im glad I didnt tackle this. wasnt to spendy either. A MUCH better ride and no wobble in 4wd for me. Super glad I went this way.

I went to the top. I think it is 2.75 or so. I didnt have to change anything like brake lines and such. If I went taller I would have.
I did get new tires and wheels, but a week or so after the lift was installed. wasnt a have to thing, just a want to.

Will the 2011 use the same BILSTEN shock as the 2010? On the shock warehouse web site they only list them for 2010.

Yes. When I looked, the 2010 and the 2011 has the same part number. Here is where I looked: http://www.bilsteinshocks.com/bilste...year='2011'
