Default external satillite radio and sirius ...

HI gang,

Quick question on use of a home satillite radio with the existing sirius package.

I have an XM radio to use at home or trailer, etc and was wondering if we can use the sirius package that came with truck?

I think XM and Sirius merged but not sure on how all the licensing stuff works between the two.

Anyone tried to use their sirius codes with a home unit?

Thanks for any help?

Musky....

I havent tried anything with a home unit but I know I had a little bit of trouble getting my year 'trial' subscription to transfer to a new head unit I put in my truck. I had 5 or 6 people tell me that it was not possible to transfer in anyway.. then I got a hold of the girl that told me it wouldnt be a problem in the first place and she transferred it for a $15 fee.

So my guess for using your subscription on a XM home device is no. plus that would turn it off in your truck IF you could do that.
