I had a true dual set up like this on my '94 GMC...ran down under the doors....they were quiet....so where the doors hinged was my DMH cutouts

Most of the dual systems I have seen with that configuration were jobs done by the shop vs. any pre-made catback kit.

It really doesn't matter from a quality standpoint if you get a good shop that uses good materials. Keep in mind that some catbacks are 304 stainless steel and others are aluminized pipe. The SS pipes will last a bit longer if they are subjected to corrosive road salts and chemicals. Given where you are, aluminized pipe will be just fine.

Also, ask the shop if they can mandrel bend the pipe. That way the pipe won't crinkle and be reduced in diameter. Most aftermarket catbacks are mandrel bent.

My custom job was actually cheaper than what the catback sold for!

Good luck with your mod.

both sides it cost me $400.00 and it has a life time warranty, the only issue I have had with it is that about once a year the passenger side bracket breaks and I have to take it back and have it re-welded at no cost of course
