Default 2011 3500 Mega Suspension Lift 4x4

I have talked to a couple of local shops and am hearing conflicting opinions on a 6 inch lift. It is a bit confusing for a first time lift guy. I was recommended 3 different kits from one shop. Kind of detailed but I hope someone can help me. I am open to other kits too.

Option 1
Fabteck 6"
FTS23032
FTS23020BK
FTS93008
BIL 24-187213
BIL 33-187228

Option 2
Tuff Country
Tuf 36111
Fab FTS23020BK
TUF 36002
BIL 24-187213
BIL 33-187228

Option 3
Revtek
REV 7306D-3
REV 7306-DS
REV 736BK
REV 7306B

The second shop agreed with Bilsteins and thats about it. They said I would get vibrations and a bad ride from all 3. These guys told me to go with superlift no question. They said it is the best lift for my dodge and is designed for my dodge. I believe he was referring to this one... http://www.superlift.com/Catalog.asp?P=K967&V=180

I want something that is quality and will ride well. I tow a 26 ft bumper pull and not a ton of off-road.

Please Help!

Between the two, FabTech & SuperLift, I'd pick the SuperLift kit to avoid vibration.

But don't expect a nice ride from any lift. It will get a bit harsh.

Good luck.

I don't know where they get you will have a vibration? I would go with the Fabtech kit since they are one of the best in the business. They make very good quality kits and are a very reputable company. I have one of their 6" lift on my 07 1500 and i love it. It was the most complete kit that I found. My truck rides great without any problems. I actually like the ride better then stock.

What did they say would cause the vibration? You have a 3500 so your truck will have a hd suspension. When you go with your lift kit i suggest getting yourself some steering stabilizers to help control the tires. I dont know how your truck qill have a vibration, still confused on that one haha.

One thing they said leaves me to believe their retarded. They said that the Superlift kit is made for the Dodge..... ALL lift kits are made for the specific truck, not one size fits all haha. The superlift is a great kit as well so you could always go that route, I just don't see how the others will cause vibration. Also Revtek is another awesome company so I think the shop you saw might be confused on what their talking about

Really the only chance for vibration with a 3500 is from something wrong in the front end(which would have nothing to do with the lift) or from your driveshafts being to steep. From my experiences I would have to think you U joint will break before you get any bad vibrations

Thanks,
I have decided to go with the superlift. The guys at my local Dodge dealership even told me that the superlift is a quality lift for my truck and they don't promote them due to a little higher cost. Weird.

OK, I switched it up. After waiting for superlift to send a part...and put me off another 2 weeks and talking to a few shops that say they have dealt with superlift taking forever to get parts to them and i heard they may be struggking financially (future warranty issue), I did more research and decided to go with A BDS Longarm set up...Here is the basics...

BDS 032503
Front 6" diesel coils

BDS 012622
Front long arm box kit

BDS 012407
Rear box kit 3 7/8 u-bolts

BDS 122501
Carrer bearing drop kit

BIL 24-187213

BIL 33-187228

BDS 122801
Transfercase index ring

I will have it installed in about 2 weeks!

I an hopeful that this will work well for the money and think the longarm is a good way to go.

Better hurry and find some wheels and tires.

What do you think guys?
