I had a RanchHand full bumper replacement on my old dually. It was awesome. I got it after I hit a deer with my factory setup and it caused $6,000.00 in damage. After I put on the RanchHand, I wound up hitting 3 more over the next 9 years and all I ever did was wash it off and maybe touch it up with some black spray paint. I haven't gotten a new one for the 2011 but it will probably happen eventually. They are just too dang good for protection and just look good as well.

If you just want a Grill Guard and not the full replacement, they offer some really nice ones. Top Gun brand would probably be my second choice.

I've seen a lot of the Ranch Hand units around here. they look good and it appears, based on that ^^^^ post they stand up to deer abuse quite well!

I put a "Buckstop" on my 2003 Dodge Quad diesel. (I added driving lights in the "buckets" after the picture was taken and put them on a separate switch. The 2003 Dodge headlights left a lot to be desired.)

The Buckstop was 240 lbs. of deer vaporizing steel. I never tested mine but my buddy who bought one at the same time I did hit three deer with his Dodge. Just hosed of the gore. Good as new. I was a bit upset that my insurance company wouldn't lower my rates as the bumper was costly and would have saved them a lot of money had I hit a deer. So, I haven't installed anything on my 2010 Dodge. If and when I hit a deer, I'll replace the front bumper with something heavier.

"Brush guards" won't do much to protect the front end, IMO. I drive by a body shop on my way into town and have seen lots of damaged trucks with brush guards in their lot. (We have lots of deer and antelope in our area.) The brush guards "fold" and, in some instances, possibly cause more damage than might have occurred with a stock bumper, i.e. fenders and hood.

One thing to consider about heavy duty bumpers is the increased weight. On the 2003, I added a "Kore" off road suspension (which was great, btw.) But, I've decided to keep mods to a minimum on the 2010. All I've done so far is add "Weather Guard" floor mats and a Bakflip G2 bed cover.

Here's a picture of the 2003 with the Buckstop.
