Did alot of driving this weekend and I'm still impressed at the milage this truck gets. I went 338kms on 39 liters of 89 which works out to 11.6 liters/100kms or 20.3 MPG. Average speeds from 110 km/hr down to 80 km/hr. I've got 15000 kms on the truck or about 9300 miles. It does take alot of gas to get her moving so this is why the milage is not good at all with city driving, the stop and go with the traffic lights are milage killers for sure.........

Well, we did the trip to Salem. It was our 26th anniversay on the 12th . It rained the whole time we were there, all we got each other was umbrellas and raincoats (seriously). Glad we didn't take the Wing. Anyway, mileage results. U.S. 17.5 MPG Metric 13.4 L/100Km. This translates into 21.2 imperial mpg's.
On another note, why don't our Rams get programmed with imperial gallons and not U.S. gallons when they are sent up here for sale in Canada?

northernblue, is that an improvement over what you were getting for mpg? Just wondered if you are noticing a difference, and what about performance, anything noticeable?
Thanks

honestly, I don't think there is a big improvement in mileage, but I did notice a big difference in low end torque. There is little or no throttle lag now off the line, and it sounds great. Highly recommend this mod, and its relatively inexpensive.

Had my 08 Big Horn on a little road trip this past weekend... Wedding in Chicago from Middle of the Thumb in MI.... 5 1/2 / 6 hour drive. I was pulling from Full to 1/2 tank around 200 miles, going 75-80 MPH on cruise. I was very surprised and happy.

Ram Mods, is OEM everything except Volant CAI.... OEM 20" wheels and tires.

Cool, sounds like I may just have to get a proper CAI, all I've done to date is drop in a K&N into the stock housing.

Biggest thing, was not letting the truck get below a 1/2 tank, cause then the MPG went to shit!
