Default A/C Question

Hello Everybody,

My '97 Ram 1500 runs great; no idling problems or any indications of a vacuum line leak.

The cruise control doesn't work even though the indicator light comes on and now when I turn on the A/C it blows cold air and warm air intermittently.

When its blowing the cold air it is very cold air, and vice a versa.

Anybody have any ideas on what the problem is and if it is a vacuum line where exactly is it to check?

Thanks so much for your help,

M. Karns

Sounds like it might be 2 different problems. Check the refrigerant level in the A/C. The cruise could be an electrical problem so unless you're handy with a DVOM, you may need to seek out a shop to check it for you.
