Default Driver Door Creak

So I have my 2011 Ram Sport with 4,200 miles. I notices when the door sits closed for a while and then I open it, it makes a creaking noise. The noise stops after it is open a quarter of the way, but it is annoying.

Anyone have any idea. I hope its just a lubrication issue and nothing major. Anyone else notice this or have the same problem.

My list of issues keeps growing Grrrrrrrr.

i have read that some people that have 4 doors, hardly ever open the rear 2 & they end up sticking closed
in the course of my business, i use all 4 doors almost daily
the dealer has kept them lubed, i check the lube after they apply it, sometimes they are a bit sloppy & it ends up on my pants or shirt

They must really be really packing it on your hinges. I got some white lithium spray. My hinges have no lube on them. It helped a little but a second application will be a must. I think is coming from the roller now that the paint has rubbed off on the metal that goes against the roller. I've never had a truck so I am not used to that kind of hinge design.

I have this problem in both front doors. The drivers door is worse and no matter how much or what type of lube is used, it doesn't go away. There is some slop in the hinge pin and roller as compared to the other doors, and the creak noise is amplified by the spring. I think the only resolution is to disassemble the whole hinge assembly and apply a good lube to the inside of the hinge and roller shafts. Dealer just keeps spraying tons of white lithium grease on it. My door jamb looks like a grease trap!

I had the 2 front doors and one rear door creak on mine. Tried all kinds of lubricants, and most would mask it for maybe a day. Finally a completely soaked the hinges in gear oil (made a huge mess) let it work itself in for a couple of days, then went to the local car wash and high pressure sprayed the hinges to get ride of the mess. It's been a few months now, and not a creak to be heard.

Same thing with mine, I tried white lithium grease, but need to apply it about once a month...for now I'll do that I don't know what else to do.
