Default Sirius Channel Line-Up Change

Has anyone else wondered why Sirius decided to change all of their channels?? I find it a little dumb, tomorrow morning I'm going to be running off the road trying to re-set my preset channels.

Kind of a pain in the rear, they said something about making it easier to navigate through genres you like or something.

Default Sirius Lineup Change

Just a friendly reminder that Sirius/XM has changed their channel lineup as of this morning, the new lineup is here. This is what they have to say for the reason for the change:

We've re-ordered our channels to make it easier for you to quickly find what you want to hear. As a result, some channels you listen to have a new number.
This re-organization will make it simpler to navigate through the lineup so you'll spend less time searching and more time listening to what you like the most.

Hope this helps some of you sat radio listeners out there.

what can be easier or faster than hitting the preset button that you've already got programmed?

I think it's just another way to annoy us and make things generally irritating

I haven't experienced it yet myself, as I've been out of town all day, rotting in the hotel, waiting for my turn to, but my wife informs me that when the channels update all presets continue to work..

for instance if you had Classic Rewind, channel 15 preset, then it will remain preset with the new channel number.

I was NOT looking forward to reprograming all of my presets, I'm glad that I won't have to

Mine didn't reset on its own, oh well. But I did find out that the XM channels and Sirius channels are now the same. Before they were not. I have XM in the other car. Must have been the main reason why they switched them.

Although my radio took care of setting itself up, I went to the Sirius site to get their explanation......it was completely lame.....yours on the other hand makes sense!
