We sprayed line-x on a 07 ford f150 that was a guy's hunting truck and it had a million scratches down the side from brush. Now with it sprayed on u can't even tell. Only problem is if u go to sell it, it will take a certain buyer.

It's heavy! Be prepared to lose some mileage as well.

Ok, so in addition to liking this idea of doing the whole truck like this, would this work for rims as well? I wouldn't mind blacking out the chrome rims I got on my truck.

I would imagine you'd have a hard time getting it sprayed on evenly and might have trouble balancing the wheel afterwards. Line-X is a bit thick for my liking to be putting on wheels.

My brothers friend tried it of wheels for his rally car after seeing the rockers in his Cherokee and it didn't hold up because of brake heat. We didnt really think it would for that reason but it was worth a shot

Hmmm, never thought about the heat from the brakes, I had only thought about wrenching on the bolts and such. Guess I gotta start looking at different brands so I can price it out and see what kind of stages I can do this in, and if this could be a driveway job or not. Especially since the wife likes the idea and looks of this type of paint job.
