Default Where have all the parts gone????

I have been all over the internet looking for 2 parts for my truck. I can get everything but these 2. The first is the bracket for the power steering pump. It attaches to the block of my slant 6. The Dodge number is 4088468. I can get pump and the brackets that surround the pump, but the piece I need has fallen off the face of the planet. I am also looking for the flywheel cover. My slant 6 is hooked up to an A833 tranny. The dodge number for it is 2129885. I have E-mailed more wrecking yards this past month and when I do find a yard with a slant 6 those parts are missing. I appreciate any help.

Im a very involved member at slantsix.org. Its a forum dedicated to slant six stuff, anything from the daily driver to racecars. They have a parts wanted and a for sale section. Give them a try. If you cant find anything on there just ask. Good luck on the hunt!

you do know that the 3.7L was still being used in 2011 Jeeps & 2008 Dakotas
basically they were called the G or RG engine

yes t is hard to find certain parts for these i have an 1982 miser that i just picked up trying to find an sunding unit is impossible.

And you are so on the wrong planet with that. The SLANT 6 is an inline 6 design from the 1950's, the largest of which was the 225. Note that's Slant 6, not V6. The Slant 6 was replaced by the 3.9V6 (which was derived from the 5.2V8) for truck applications, and was intended to be the "big" engine in the new (then) Dakota. Wiki is good in some ways, but you really want a better site for info. www.allpar.com/slant6.html is where you will see the correct info. Hatman, you should expand your search, if you haven't already, to Slant 6 cars as well. I'm seeing a lotta stuff on eBay. Even if it's not there now, and there are some PS brackets on there now, your specific one might pop up.

I used to keep two heads off the old 225 slant 6 on a shelf under my work bench. I had sooooooo many people believing I had a V12 that I was restoring.
