Have you tried changing oil filter brands? Seriously, hydraulic lash adjuster noise on startup is really aggravated by an oil filter that doesn't have a REALLY good check valve to keep the oil passages full overnight. I've always had the best luck with Purolator Pure One filters, OK luck (not great) with Wix.

Also, I went to the airram.com site, and personally I think they pretty seriously overstate the benefits of solid "lifters" (the 4.7 really doesn't even have "lifters," it has hydraulic lash adjusters). I think going solid would be a bigger benefit on a pusrhod engine like the Hemi where a) the lifter is actually a lifter and moves with the cam, and b) there's more mass in the valvetrain.

I think it would be a big hassle keeping solid lash adjusters adjusted in the 4.7, AND they're going to make a slight noise all the time instead of just at start-up. Just my opinion....

^^agreed, you may regret doing this swap after you find out you will have to remove your valve covers and adjust the lash every x amount of miles...and for what, maybe a couple hp and slightly less noise at startup, but slightly more noise all other times...It just becomes another maintenance item, and is a PITA. On my suzuki motorcycle, it required a lash adjustment every 4k miles, so basically every oil change(and would take like 4 hours to get the tank off, valve cover off, and reassembled...), this is the main reason I sold it and bought a Buell, hydraulic lifter pushrod engine, just change the oil and go That's my opinion, in a daily driver, you want the self adjusting hydraulics...
