Default Same issue?

I just bought a 2011 1500 ST v8 (non hemi). When cruising between 45-55 I get a audible shudder when lightly accelerating. Not noticed in lower speeds or when accelerating hard.

The sounds is driving me nuts! I took it to the dealer and they heard it too. Ran an update but the sound persists.

It is the MDS system. Dodge needs to take a hard look at this problem and get it fixed. They have flashed my computer, changed the converter and still issues. It might be better but not fixed. I now have 2200 miles on the truck and it is shifting into second like it has a shift kit, hard and can't find high gear at times so the RPM runs up and down in a 500 RPM swing for a 1/8 to 1/4 mile..... I think they should just shut the MDS system off below 50 MPH. Getting pretty upset at this point. The truck looks great and I want to like it but these trans issues are killing the deal.

Totally agree! I have had the flash and TC replaced and it is still there and is just crap for a new vehicle to have this. It doesn't sound like DiableSport has cracked the 2011 PCM to get the Predator/Trinity going so we can turn the MDS off.

Is there a way we can rally and jointly complain to Dodge engineering?

Dear Dodge Trucks,

Please sign up and read the ramforumz.com threads about your trans and see if you can make a change to fix this.

How's that! Anyone know the e-mail address? I would be happy to send this to them.

Default Me Too!

Thanks guys for the post and information. After two separate trips to the dealership with the issue and being told "it's just normal". I took a print of this posting and the pic of the actual TSB. Pretty sure in the heat of the moment I actually offered to pin it to the service managers forehead.

At least now they had more to review and think about, more to come tomorrow.

Thanks again! I love this forum!!!!
