That sounds awesome!!!!! I would love a mild remote setup if the motor and trans could take it, but only about 5 psi or so....2WD quad cab! Got any suggestions on what I might need?

This may be the most impressive build ive ever seen on a hemi truck compounded with a 2wd to 4wd conversion. I can only hope for great things with this truck boasting things greater than ford and chevy please for the love of god please! We all know of Parish, Flaco, and Johny's Lightening. The RAM need's a name to put it on top and this truck may have the potential with alot of work but it's well on its way! By the way kit or not its custom and thats what i was getting at...

Thanks, I am hoping to get some people's attention with this truck. To clarify, it started as a 4WD, I converted it to all wheel drive, much like the SRT8 Jeep. I also built the suspension, coil overs all 4 corners to drop the truck 5" in the front and 6" in the back.

I am working on something like that right now. A single turbo setup that will go right behind the Y pipe. At 6psi it should make about 450HP at the crank.

That is what you would get at low boost. Most supercharger systems are running 8 to 10 psi. Crank this single up to 8 psi and it will be 525HP.

yeah the maggie s/c is being shipped with an 8# IIRC and they end up with low 400s rwhp...and that's a the supplied tune. lb for lb of boost the turbo will always make more hp if all tuning parameters are equal.

I know it doesn't always translate into real world #s but a 6 psi turbo kit should make into the low 500s at the crank.

a 6 psi boost is a 40% boost over what the motor is seeing N/A (14.7psi). we all know that it won't be 100% effiecient maybe that's why people say you'll see a 5% increase in hp for every psi of boost. so if we saw a 30% increase of 390 crank hp then we'd end up with 520 crank hp.

when I was looking at the STS kits the guys out there told me I'd see about a 1 psi drop in boost with a remote mount kit. basically, they told me to run a 9# spring if I wanted to see 8 psi of boost. where are you measuring your boost?

don't get me wrong...I'm not trying to be argumenative or negative here. I think the kit looks awesome and I'd really like to see one on my truck soon!

916Timmy asked about a mild system and that is what I quoted. With a larger turbo, I can build a single kit that will put down close to 700HP at the wheels, but that comes with a whole lot of other upgrades. I was quoting him a system that would not hurt his trans and that would not require a fuel system upgrade.
