Thanks for the bulletin...my dealer said they are aware of it "now"....but to have it in hand will really help. My dealer is one of the good ones so I don't worry about them but everyone is human.....

Thanks for posting the TSB. Mine seems to drive fine, but I am still waiting to have K36 done I might as well have this done. Since it's an improvement.

When manual shifting, you are in ERS mode. In this mode, you have all 'six' gears. When the display shows 3, the gear is actually 2nd prime, which is only a small step from 2nd. Also note, when the display shows 5, your actually in 4th (1st OD). You keep to shift one more time to 'Drive' to get 5th (2nd OD).

In a nutshell, what you are experiencing is normal.

thanks brad, 2nd prime is a kick down gear for better performance when passing someone (ford/cheve) on the open road at higher speeds

http://hotrodlane.cc/New%20HEMI%20Te...mi%20trans.pdf

here is a web site that explains how it all works

Had mine flashed yesterday...WOW...big difference!!!! No more shutter in and out of MDS and no more down shifting while coasting. I was only looking to have the coasting issue resolved because my 08 acted similar with the MDS so I thought it was normal.

Thanks for the info

I'm having these same issues, but mine is a 2010, no TSB for the 10's though. I just called the dealer and they looked up my VIN. The TSB describes what I am experiencing, but I cannot repeat any of it for my dealer and they don't feel it. I may try one more time before talking to a new dealer. If somebody took the time to drive it for a few days they would feel how sloppy the trans is. I just can't leave my truck with somebody for a couple days to have them not feel what I am feeling.

anybody know a really good deal in SE Michigan?
