I called my dealer about this again today now that I had the TSB in hand (Thanks 6t6gto )

They STILL didn't have a clue what I was talking about.
They were telling me it would cost me $95 to have done and that I would have to talk to the service manager.

EFF That, I just called another dealer in my area and they are going to update the software tomorrow morning.

I think I am officially done with the service dept. at the dealership I bought the truck from...

I had mine flashed on Wednesday morning and it fixed most of the issues. I still feel like it could be a little smoother. Someone mentioned their 08. I bought and traded an 08 all is 6 weeks due to the fuel drop down and overall mileage.... 9.3 average in town. I almost didn't give Dodge another look.... Glad I did now!

Well I got mine updated today and I'm not so sure it's better than before.

It isn't engine braking anymore but it still feels sluggish on accelerate at somes speeds.

I was trying to drive in town in "D", maybe I will still have to set it to "5" for in town driving.

i still feel the vibrations in "D" not in "5".

But I never felt them in "5" thats why I would cap it for city driving.

Maybe I was just expecting too much of a difference.

Some of the shifts stll feel kinda harsh too imo.

I dunno, my last vehicle was a manual transmission, this one would be too if it wasn't special order nowadays...

I have the 4.7 not the hemi and they just updated my computer yesterday. in D there is a huge difference on take off from a stop light. the first couple of times the shift from 1st to 2nd was kinda rough but it is better now. I was also getting alot of shifts when doing 45 this has now stopped.

Same, I REALLY didn't like the engine braking, that smells like a ruined transmission to me, and the update fixed that.

Has anyone else that has had the update noticed if they labeled the underside of your hood with the TSB #?

They are supposed to post it there near the VECI label but my dealer didn't. Maybe I could get him to mail it to me?

I noticed that my dealer did not as well... that made me wonder if they are supposed to put it there. it calls for it in the TSB.
