Default Front receiver that would accept a winch - 2011 RAM 1500

I just replaced a 2008 RAM 2500 with a 2011 RAM 1500. On the previous truck I replaced the front bumper with an large ARB bumper and Warn winch. For the new RAM 1500 I was considering having a winch on a tray such that it would mount to a receiver. With that scheme I could mount it either on the front or rear of the truck, allowing easier retreat if that was desired.

What I have not found is a good 2 inch receiver that can be installed on the front of the truck. I would like to find something actually designed with the particular truck in mind that gives a clean installation rather than a do-it-yourself one-off. Here is an example of the winch style.

Does anyone have a truck set up with a front receiver? Ideally a 2011 RAM 1500. If so, please provide a pointer to the mounting system.

Some good links, thank you for those. The Curt receiver is down at the level of the valance, appears to be just up against the bumper. Probably OK, but I would sure hate to pull up on a curb and have the receiver mount be the point of impact.

I just crawled under the front of the car and looks like some good pickup points for a receiver. I haven't measured yet but does not look as if one would fit through that plastic trim in the front bumper area. That would really have been the perfect spot. I am not too keen on the idea of carving the metal of the front bumper. And was hoping to not replace it.

I believe that that plastic piece is just held in by little clips, you could pop it out & see if you could put a receiver through it, i am considering doing it to mine
in my business if i had a front receiver i could get 5 more cents a mile while doing a job

i had it on my last truck, mounted right under the license plate

i would then be able to have this set up
