Default Repairing rear window trim

After a storm with high winds in our area I come outside and find a roof shingle in the bed of my truck and damage to the rear window trim. The truck is an '05 QC with the sliding rear window. I posted a pic below, my initial thought was to try to sand and buff the plastic to remove the scratches but they're pretty deep. Anyone have any suggestions short of replacing the rear window?

I'd use a little plastic filler and some black paint. I'm sure you can also get a new trim piece at the dealer - good luck with the repair.
Hey, on another note, use the link in my SIG to jump over to the Newbie Checkin to introduce yourself and then post a few pics of that truck you are doing all the mods on.
