Smile Front CAM Finally Installed.

Just installed my front CAM so now I can freely switch between the front CAM and the REAR cam. With the lockpick the rear CAM image comes on whenever in reverse and the front CAM image comes on whenever in drive and I drop below 8MPH. The automatic feature can be turned off and both CAMs can be selected manually. Pretty cool toy. Hear are some pics.

My first instinct was to be a smart ass and say, isn't that what the windshield is for, but I though about it and I can see the use for it. I was planning on installing a two camera system so I can have one for backing up the trailer as well but the three camera is not much more so maybe I do this as well. Thanks for posting.

I can see where you might think that I really thought about doing this cause we have alot of little kids on the street and being up so high its impossible to see right in front of the bumper. It's also a cool conversation piece and will help when parking.

Thanks, I picked up an audiovox CMOS 2 from Ebay. I was very impressed with this one, it had five different mounts and can be mirror imaged by snipping a wire.

As I started to think about it I came up with pretty much the same thing, not seeing a child or a pet would be a tragedy and the first time you turn that camera on and see one of them you'll ...well you know what I mean. Good on ya

Thats a great mod and one of the next ones on my list. I also just put in a CHR550 Lockpick and was looking around for the front camera next.

I have another camera on the back of my camper which is plugged into one of the lockpick ports as well. Now for the front, and possibly turn signal cams for the camper.

Where did you run the wires into the cab?
