Default possible to sit on 44's?

I was just curious as to what it would take to be able to put some 44" tires under my truck? I am thinking about making this a project truck...and just wondering if anyone has done it? if so got any pics? I searched the forum, but couldn't find anything about 44's. I don't have the finds yet, but will be starting a new job soon that pays very well...and thought if i'm going to lift it, might as well go all the way up lol thanks

Damn man, 44's are a loooong ways up. It'll most likely have to be a custom lift. No one that I've heard or seen makes a kit that high.

You better be up grading to 1 ton running gear and doing some power upgrades and gears, for starters!

I was looking at the 10" Full Throttle Lift, and maybe a body lift, and was wondering what that will allow tire wise? any ideas? i would be ok going with 40's like ScatPak07's truck. I am wanting to have the old school look, more rubber than wheel, so will be trying to use 17's with some beefy mud grips, maybe some Super Swamper Boggers...

You are changing the gears right? 40's would look sweet!! My truck has about a 10" lift on it and if I do a 3" body I could go with 40's easy. So you might beable to pull off 44's on yours with a 10" suspension + 3" body. You might have to trim a little. What offset rim are you looking at?

Thought about lifting and getting wheels/tires on before doing gears, but not sure yet. I came across a truck that had the 10" FTS lift with a 3'' body lift that was sitting on 44's and they said it was running factory gears (not sure if it was true or not) the link is below to the truck. Not sure on the offset either, going with the old school look, I'd like them to stick out from under the truck, (if I went with anything smaller than 44s, because 44's will stick out no matter what lol)so not sure what I will need....any ideas or suggestions?

You might do some more research on FTS lifts, they are not the greatest unless you are going for a pure show truck. Most people go 6-8 inch suspension and 3" body. Never heard anything good about FTS.

I had never heard of them until I searched for lifts, and they seemed to be what I was looking for just pricey...If they are mainly for show, then its not what I want, because mine isn't going to be a show truck lol... All I can find lift wise are 6", any idea were I can get an 8" lift. I'd rather use as much suspension lift as possible, never been a fan of body lifts (past experiences helping cousin and his 79 chevy)...thanks

Well, if you do the lift, wheels and tires without gears done; get ready to wonder why the truck won't move very fast...
