Default Trinity problem

So, i got a trinity about a week ago. Was pretty excited. Ran my truck problem free for about a week. Now I've gone from excited to pi$$ed! Went on a long trip and had my MDS engaged, everything ran great. Got home and turned MDS off and that's when the problem began. My truck is now stuck in gear. It's stuck in a higher gear. Its like i have just one long gear now. VERY slow and sluggish at take off and hits between 2500-3000 rpm at 65mph. I have a 2008 5.7 and this was with the 87 canned tune mds off. Any suggestions?

I've tried re-engaging MDS and installing stock tune... doesn't help.

Dang...so you can't return it to stock?

If not, I'd suggest you contact DiabloSport. I have never heard of this happening before.

It allows me to return it to stock but it doesn't fix the problem. Posted the issue on the tech forum and the only response i got was that the problem isnt the tuner but my trans. Just seems funny to me considering I was problem free until I installed the tune and fired up the truck only to have a screwed up trans.

Dang man that sucks! I would try taking it to a Dodge dealership and if its a computer issue then they may be able to fix it. Hope everything works out for ya. Let us know how it goes. Also you could contact one if the locations for custom tunes. Diablosport's website has a feature that will give the local ones in your area.

UPDATE: Last night after the issue popped up, I tried re-installing the tune, and the most recent thing I did was restore the factory backup. The problem persisted. I left the truck parked over night.. Did nothing further to it. Went out this morning, fired it up and took off. Ran absolutely perfect. No issues with the tranny.. nothing. Very strange. I'm going to install the 87 octane tune with MDS off and see what happens.

UPDATE: PROBLEM RE-CREATED!!! Truck ran flawless with factory settings. 3 different drives. Installed 87 octane tune with MDS off and the problem was instantly re-created. Tried data logging and upon playback, my device locked up. So, I'm not sure if my log saved or not. However, something is obviously wrong. I will be calling the tech line. Not to mention, the fuel consumption is off the charts! I can visibly watch my gas guage decrease in just a short drive. Something is obviously not right... hopefully the tech line can help. I've heard nothing but good things about DS and their customer service.. so far I'm not impressed.
