sandawilliams is on a distinguished road
Default 2007 seat belt problem

On 2500 quad cab with bucket seats. Driver side seat belt receiver side will not release. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a fix without replacement? Tried lubing it but didn't make a difference. Kind of tough trying to crawl out from under the belt and harness when it wont release.
Is there a site to get the part # for this? To compound issues the truck has bucket seats with console.
Any help is appreciated.

This is more of a bump than anything else, but have you jiggled the belt that is inserted and tried to press the release button? I'm thinking this is a safety issue and might still be covered under warranty.
