Default 2014 sport alpine stereo vs laramie stereo

did anyone compare the two to see if the laramie plays better than the sport alpine one

Sport Alpine vs Laramie non-alpine?
Here's my take on alpine vs non-alpine and i hope this is what you're asking for....
just my opinion of course...
They both leave a lot to be desired BUT
the Alpine sounds better at VERY moderate listening levels (i stress moderate)
it's fairly clean, but lacks dynamics, impact, and the center channel can over dominate when the volume increases.
The non-Alpine is not so clean, but has a bit more dynamics and impact.
For a guy who likes to roll the windows down and rock the tunes higher than moderate levels, I honestly prefer the non-Alpine. It gets louder than the Alpine (you may have to back down the bass on the EQ), and there is no center channel to mess up the front staging. They both fall apart when pushed, but the Alpine version simply turns to moosh when pushed hard.
