Default Airaid for HEMI

Anyone know if the Airaid MXP intake system will still fit with the Airaid throttle body spacer installed? I have a 2010 Power Wagon. It says on the description for the spacer that it only fits the stock intake but just wondering if anyone has tried it or if its even worth it.

Welcome to the forum. I've never experienced any improvement with a TB spacer.

Thats what I figured. I just went and ordered the Airaid with the intake scoop. Ordered the dry filter system. Also have an Aero Turbine muffler installed (which I love, shy of the small drone while towing), can't wait to see the performance gains (mostly mpg since PW suck liquids BIGTIME) this intake will give me together with the turbine. Muffler alone actually gave me 1-1.5mpg. A lot of people won't believe me when I tell them that but I honestly get better milage on the highway since the install.

I believe ya. After the install of a CAI, exhaust and a programmer; my highway MPG has slowly improved 4+ mpg. I'm sure it would be better if I cruised at 65 or slower but I can't seem to do that. I'm sure my around town mileage would be better if I wasn't havin' so much fun with the accelerator but I can't do that either.

I just bought this system (MXP) for my 06 RAM. I don't have a programmer yet, will I be ok without a tune? Any good write ups on the install?

I have also never seen any gains from tbs. Tried one on two different vehicles. Now intake exhaust and tune are a different thing. I have not seen any real gains mpg wise from my intake and exhaust yet, but it they have only been on for less than 300 miles. I do know when they release a tune for the 11, I will defenitely see a improvement.
