from what I heard line-x contours to the shape of the bed better then the rhino, as far as cosmetics go. toughness wise both very dependable.

you probably can't go wrong with either. I went with Line-x purely b/c of price. They both have a lifetime warranty (IIRC) and I'm not worried about fading b/c I have a bed cover.

I have a Rhino in my truck, and I like it a lot. I think price was @$450. It is my first spray in liner. Pros: The installer told me that a full cooler will tip before it slides. Cons: You have to pick up cargo to place it in the bed instead of sliding it.

Edit- Also, if you are having it sprayed, make sure they remove and mask off the piece on your tailgate to get at your handle/locking mechanism abd spray it seperately. This way, they won't spray over the screws that hold it in place.

I have Line-x in my truck, but that is simply because the line-x dealer near me has a very good reputation, and does better quality work... i.e. put more time and effort into the application of the product.

The products are so similar, I would visit both and go with your instincts...

I have had Rhino in 2 of my trucks so far and when I bye my next it will also have Rhino. Personal preference, as they have stated its the shop that does the work that has a lot to do with happiness. Line-X has a course sand feel to it and Rhino is smoother and softer. Pretty much your choice. Good luck.

as an off topic opinion, I got a xtreme liner put in mine today, looks great, equivalent in looks to line-x if not better IMO. has a lifetime warranty like other liners however the guy who did it said in 11 years he has never had someone come back for warranty work, and it was 315. very happy with it.

I went with the DIY Herculiner. I chose this for a few reasons. The biggest reason was the price. For $90-95 I got the kit, acetone and a few brushes to apply it. Took roughly four hours to apply it myself. Plus I was able to apply it everywhere I wanted it applied. Before I purchased it, I bought some through the work account and applied it to the interior side of our exit doors where there was concrete. Gets slippery when it rains.. Anyway, I am impressed with how easy it was to apply and how durable it is. On top of that, I didn't want to put hundreds of dollars into my bed liner, that I can put towards my nerf bars I want to buy. Not a cheap purchase, especially for the bars I want to get.

Oh, and if you do it yourself, do not use masking tape. Get a good trim brush and just go slow, or use a 12'', 10", 8" or whatever suits you and use it as a shield. When I tested it at work I used masking tape, and found after the second coat was dry and ready to remove the tape, the tape caused the polyurethane liner to fray where the tape was pulled up. I tried to use a knife to cut the material and tape apart, but it was near to impossible to see where the tape ended. Your call, just what I've observed. Good luck!

I prefer Line-X with Xtra, but both are decent options. The reasons I like Line-X with Xtra better is because 1. aesthetics - Line-X with Xtra stays looking black long after it's been applied whereas Rhino fades quickly and 2. I prefer the feeling of Line-X compared to the rubber feeling of Rhino. Line-X just feels stronger and more sturdy to me. Here are pics of my truck with Line-X with Xtra and my step-dad's Ram with Rhino. Note that my bedliner was done a few months after his, and we both park outside in the southern sun every single day. Although my truck sits in more direct sunlight day to day than his does. And yes, it's dirty below the toolbox. All of these pics were taken on the same day
