Default Radio Problem

I have a REN radio that is driving me crazy, only had the truck for 3 weeks and I'm trying to get the radio set up. I have the latest Gracenotes Database installed but, it recognizes songs that I'm playing from a cd, but when I load the songs on the HDD, it only reads track.aac1-2 etc. I can't be the only one to have had this issue. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

are you using an Ipod or some other Apple device?

most people use a Flash drive FAT 16 or 32 MP3 & load through the USB

it will not read NTFS files

I finally have it figured out, the issue was in order for the database to recognize the songs, they needed to be burned as an mp3, not an audio cd.

Thanks
