Default High idle???

i have a 98 ram 5.2l and it has around 78k miles on it, i have a high idle in nuetral and park around 1k and in drive around 850ish i changed the TPS and IAC with little luck and Seafoamed the motor to help clean it out, it helped a little but didnt cure it, also it doesnt have a air leak.
any ideas?

The 5.2 I noticed does idle higher then the newer engines around 800-1000 is actually normal. Once the engine warms up of course the idle drops a bit. Try cleaning out the throttle body.

I agree with ramvan2500 about cleaning the TB.

Also, check the throttle cable that attaches to the throttle body and see if it is able to return to idle properly. There might be debris keeping the cable from retracting all the way, causing the truck to idle a little too high.

Fixed it was the TPS wiring that connected next to the coolant fluid on the intake manifold
