Default throttle body mod problems??

I did the throttle body mod a little while ago, and was happy with the way it turned out. So shortly therafter I put in a drop in k&N Filter and was even happier. Then about a week later my truck started acting up. When I start it some mornings it stalls out right away and I gotta twofoot drive it til it warms up. I figured it was an O2 sensor starting to go bad but just hadn't thrown a code yet. So, last week I finally had a chance to go down to autozone and pick one up. Swapped it out, checked the plugs, they seemed fine. Truck did ok for a few days, but then yesterday it did the same thing again and now again today. Did I do something wrong when I did this? I also cleaned the TB when I had it off.

Double check all your sensor conections(map, iac, tps) and inspect all your vaccum lines. Dont forget to pull your pcv valve and shake it to. If it ratttles we are good if not buy a new one.

i'll check all the connections but its funny you mention the dead cell in the battery. i know my battery is real weak, if i keep my doors open for like 20-30 minutes, battery dies. maybe thats the underlying issue?? haha, nothings that easy for me. thanks for the help.

lol yea ive asked several people about it ad dakota-durango.com, dakotaquadsquad.com, dakotausa.com and a couple others and they all have told me the pcm dosnt know what to do it keeps trying to relearn everything and has no memory storage because of it... and if you have a bad o2 sensor and stuff saying the A/F ratios are wrong it just complicates things even worse... also i belive my battery is too small to begin with or maby its just a smaller design is 650CCA big enough for my 5.9l 97 1500... i have a auto start and half the time when i try and use it it cranks like 3 times and quits or fires and dies right after... though that could also be tied to the dead cell

battery is usually a big part of when that happens. Whenever i accidently leave the key on or something stupid and the battery gets really drained it doesn't like to idle at all. You have to keep your foot on the gas to keep it running. Replace the battery and see if that makes a difference
