Exclamation remove brake fluid rez?

Has anyone removed the brake fluid rez to totally empty/clean it out? I used a turkey baster to suck out the fluid, but there is still some 'coffee' colored old brake fluid in the rear chamber -- about 3/4" that isn't draining to the front chamber where it can be sucked out. Just wondering what can of worms I may be opening up?

Have you thought of taking some high quality paper towels to mop put the remainder of the fluid? The bounty towels are almost lint free and would work well.

Unhappy towels

Yes, I did do that, BUT if your rez is like mine, the lid is over the front chamber, then there is a dividing wall, then the rear chamber. After the front is empty, the rear still has about 3/4" of old fluid in it you can't get out with a turkey baster or paper towels. Bad design. I like the old metal ones with the snap ring holding the lid on. MUCH easier to clean out/remove 100% of old fluid + any dirt.
