I bought mine direct from the sickspeed website as well. It only took 10 days to arrive.

Did a quick FM test this morning while cruising to work. I seem to be able to pick up all of the major stations in the area (at least the ones I know). However, when I hit the scan button, it would only find one station. I could enter any station number and it would find it fine but it would not find them automatically with scan. Weird. Not sure if that is the radio, the antenna or me (since I am not an FM listener). I think a test of the antenna will be better if done by a forum member who actually listens to FM. The five minutes I spent on FM today was nothing but commercials and it drove me nuts.

I love the looks of the Sickspeed but the FM reception is not very good. Since I do not listen to FM, that does not matter to me but if that is you primary source of music, etc. you might be better served by a slightly larger antenna. Just my .02 worth.

well I listen to FM every now and then when I am to lazy to plug my ipod in, and other than that im usually always listening to my ipod, and living in Houston I think I will still be able to pick up reception because when driving around with no antenna I still pick up the main channels

Depends on your definition of big but yes, I did notice an small improvement after putting it in. I will be replacing it with my new Volant CAI as soon as it cools down enough for me to work outside for a couple of hours.
