Default Engine Cover Emblem Paint

I know it is not perfect but it looks much better than the stock black on black from the factory. Can't believe they didn't even give it something to give it the contrast from the factory. I know there is a couple of smudges, but touched it up when it went on. I think it looks good for a $5 mod.

Let me know what you guys think!

Looks great! Much better than stock. I was thinking of painting the cover red with black letters. But now I'm not sure, might have to go black with red letters.

Really like the look! Great job, and totally agree. Dodge should have done some creative colouring on the engine cover. It really enhances the look.

I just used a can of Krylon Fusion because it actually adheres to plastic unlike other spray paints. I picked the red and was actually happy when I saw that it came out more like the Mopar Orange.

A little of both! Thank you! I took the time to mask it all out. Taking the patience and a exact o-knife you can work wonders.

Thanks guys makes me feel better doing it with all the input on it. Honestly though, how much more would it have cost to paint this from the factory?

That looks really good! I hadn't thought of something like that but for less than $10 and some patience I think it would be a great mod. I can't imagine I'll get it looking as good as your's though. I don't suppose you have a pic of it all masked off?

Either way, rep for that!

Looks great, I'll have to do a little paint detailing like that too. I wonder if you can get a matching paint colour for the lettering from somewhere. Would have to adhere to plastic though like the Krylon.
Rep points for sure.
