Default Saetun's Bone Stock Big Horn

Well, the sun finally came out today so I took a quick moment after work to shoot a couple shots of the '06 Big Horn I picked up on Saturday. I'm pretty pleased with the look & stance of the truck even bone stock. This thing has serious potential. I added a couple shots of the front spoiler as its been cracked by the previous owner & I plan to try to mend it using some Mar-Hyde I had laying around. I'll post a new thread with the details on that come this weekend if weather permits.

Here's the front end & the spoiler I mentioned earlier. Notice the 3 1/2" tear. Also a shot of the Mar-Hyde. Anyone ever use this stuff?

I'll keep you posted on the spoiler surgery. Thx for looking

~Sae

Looks good, used some of that mar-hide in the past with limited results. It will show almost as bad as the crack.

Very nice looking truck! Can't say as I've heard of mar-hyde before but hopefully it will get ya by until you can get the replacement part. Nice mod list, too lol!

Well... Its been a couple of months now & thought I'd post an update to this thread. First thing I did was to address the stock pipes. went with the Magnaflow 18" SI/DO w/ exit behind the rear wheels since I plan on adding a tow hitch & I just think it looks better than str8 out the back.

Next thing I did was replace the crappy, crappy stock speakers. Being this is not my 1st modern Mopar, I was extremely surprised by the terrible sound of the stock audio setup. I opted for Hertz DCX drop in replacements for the stock speakers. Went with the 6x9's in front & 6.5"'s in the rear. Much better & will do perfectly until a sub can be added & a possible head unit upgrade.

Since 1st picking up the truck I've kept my eye open for a set of decent steps. I've got a 5 year old who could use the boost & I just like the look. I really wanted the OEM but was about to pick up a set of Aires 4" oval when craigslist came through for me on the OEM set for $75. So check those off the list.

Speaking of Craigslist, picked up a brand spankin new factory drop in liner for $100 for the bed & ordered a bedrug liner from Auto Accessories Garage. A set of BAK bed rail caps are on the way. I'm pretty pleased with the combo.

Still need to decide on either a leveling kit or 4" lift before I decide on a wheel & tire package, but I've got some tread left on the current setup, so no rush. On my short list of future options are a CAI, a tri-fold tonneau & a OEM style trailer hitch, would like a set of flares & a scoop and that's about it. If a set of power/heated tow mirrors present themselves to me for cheap then maybe those, if not no big deal.

here's a couple recent pics.
