Default 2" rear suspension drop on a 4x4...anyone?

I've been reading up on this and it seems it's done on 2wd trucks but I can't find any feedback on 4x4s....I would like to drop the rear to level the truck off to suit my driving style. I'm looking for more of a sport truck feel, I'm not into the whole off-roading scene so I don't wanna raise the front up. So lowering the rear and putting in some stiffer sways would do me just fine

I used drop shackles on mine but im not sure if your 08 has leafs or coils. If it does have leafs the shackles are pretty easy to install.

2008 has leaf springs w/ the shackle mounts above the spring. Go to this website http://www.latemodelrestoration.com, you can pick up the shackles for about $75.00
