I've had three friends that ran trail grapplers on their half tons and they all wore horribly. They all wore around 15k miles. I was pretty shocked when they were telling me this and my one buddy said the guys at the tire shop were too.
I've had alot of good experiences with 4 sets of dynapros (2 sets of MTs on 2500's, 2 sets of ATMs on a 2500 and a 1500) They have all seen around 40k miles. Just my experiences. They're the household tire at my house and my girlfriends lol

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you.

I got them from Chuxtrux and they were 390.00 a tire.

For the weight of the two Cummins and mud terrains they did very well I think. My dad was extremely happy with the ATMs on his 1500 but that an entirely different tire.
My girlfriends dad thought about having his first set of MTs siped but wanted to try them out first and never gave it another thought since. The 2500s are work trucks, we have an 80 acre farm a few miles off of dirt roads so they've pulled through there share of sticky situations not to mention pulling a 13k lb trailer week in and week out.

Not trying to push the dynapros on you haha I just really like them. I think trail grapplers would come in last place of my list

i find it odd that you have seen so many issues with the trails. its basically a toyo mt which is a great tire. nitto and toyo are the same company, just different lines of tires, so they are made the same with just a different tread pattern. 4x4 garage magazine just did a test and they selected the hankook as the number one tire out of 10 tested. included in that were the goodyears, nittos, swamper truxxus mt, yokohama, mickey t, bfg. but if you read reviews on them guys complain about weak sidewalls and blow outs.

Low on dough? Go for a appropriate interco tire. Ready to spend? buy a nitto or Toyo. This is based on your selection. Interco is always at the top of my list but they are limited on the number of E rated 37" tires.

Good luck

between the pitbulls, nitto and swamper there is a $10 difference per tire.

Based on the snow and ice requirements I would suggest this tire. http://www.intercotire.com/tires.php?id=11&g=1
I know not a 20" rim.

Careful its actually 37.2 unlike other 37" tires that come in at 36.8 or less.
Where I'm at, Bc Canada, the toyo and nitto are considerably more expensive than the interco's. I dont base my preference for interco on the price, more of a style preference. Pit bull is known for being crap in the snow.

Good luck

I believe the Pitbull Rockers are Bias tires, not the best choice for highway. They will have a tendency to flat spot, wear quickly and chunk tread. I have no experience with them, but with other bias tires and that is what I saw.
