Default Snot Green Dodge Glow....

So one of the mods I've been seriously thinking about and haven't found much talking about is changing the snot green glow behind the dash controls and the little overhead light that shines down on the centre console.

Has anyone seen or heard of changing these lights out to be even possible. I havent pulled down the overhead unit or my dash. I suspect these lights are soldered to the pcb boards that control the buttons...

Anyone have some insight as to what I'm thinking of doing or if it is at all possible?

Loth.

I was thinking about same thing today. With the bright LED's on the rest of the instrument cluster, you would think that they would spend the extra .01 to install comprable lighting....watching this thread....

I bet you do! And I also bet those flashing red and blues make up for the lack of dash lighting

Cheers

I have seen it done several times on third gens
Not sure about 4Gs but they make direct replacement LED bulbs and you'll need a colored tint for any screens you have

I know this thread is half a year old but has anyone changed the lights behind the dash controls on their 4th gen truck?

Is the overhead snot-green light just a normal LED bulb or halogen? I was thinking the green color is because of the color of the plastic. As if you took the whole assembly appart, there will be a clear white bulb in there. Let me know what you all think. I'll follow this post as well, this might annoy me after some time.
