It's an LED encased in plastic. Your options are to leave it alone or disconnect it. The only way you could change the color is if Chrysler made the exact same assembly in different colors, which isn't very likely.

The dash does not bother me much, because i keep the rheostat turned down low
That darn Ash Tray light, the green light in the roof console sometimes gets on my nerves at night, somehow it reflects on something & i see it out of the corner of my right eye, shining onto the right passenger side window, almost looks like a vehicle coming towards me from a side road

Do what we do. Put tape over the light, problem solved. We put electrical tape on the bottem side of the older strobe light bars, to keep the light from blinding the driver.

I did my HVAC lights in blue, was easy. The LED's are SMD however they are of the bigger variety and you don't need a hot air station to do them up, a good soldering iron will get the job done. I used my HAKO iron and silver solder. One tip, be sure to get some good flux/cleaner from an electronic supply, it will always make the new solder flow way better. Good luck..

P.S.- Yes, I am not sure what Dodge was thinking with the OEM color, really was annoying..
