Very nice job, I'm looking at getting a lockpick as well. Thanks for the post.

My wire routing went up the front, driver side fender and in through the firewall. I went in between the plastic and metal fender material to make the transition from under the truck to inside the engine bay.

I saw that there was a plastic cap held on by 2 bolts on the firewall. I drilled a 3/4" hole in the plastic cap to feed the cable through. I then filled in the gaps between the sheathing and the cap with silicon (inside and out).

I've attached some pics in order to show this.

They are N-Fab step bars and here is a link to them on the manufacturer's website.

As for the lockpick, how hard/easy was the install? Taking the dash off, etc. Have any tutorials? I don't even know where to start.

Nice truck, mine is black as well. Wish I had that hood!
Sorry this took so long to get to.

I looked up how to take apart the dash and watched a couple youtube videos on it before I did that part of it. There is also a thread on this site that shows how to install the camera into the latch. I did not replace the factory camera but installed a camera into my existing (non-camera) latch. I had the locking latch from the factory and all I had to do was drill a hole for the camera.

I would rate the install as a 3 (from 1-10) for difficulty and a 10 for tediousness. It wasn't hard but it took a lot of time and attention to detail. I didn't take any pics but I used thick foam tape to pad my lockpick and then zip tied it underneath the radio mount.

I did drop the spare tire in order to run the cable on top of the spare tire area. I also coiled my spare cable in that spot as well. I used 24 ft of cable and had about 3ft left extra. I followed the factory wiring harness along the driver side, above the frame.

Hope this helps
